Mat McLachlan
Mat McLachlan is an author and historian who has spent more than a decade following in the footsteps of Australian troops on battlefields around the world. His 2007 book, Walking with the Anzacs, is considered the definitive guide to Australian battlefields on the Western Front. It was reprinted in 2008. Mat also produced and appears in the First World War documentary Lost in Flanders, airing on the ABC in November 2008. His next book, Walking with the Anzacs: Gallipoli, will be released in 2010 and will be the most comprehensive guide to the Australian battlefields of Gallipoli yet published. sally hammond
Sally Hammond is an Australian author specialising in food and travel. She has written many cookbooks and travelogues as well as a number of travel and dining guides. She has reviewed restaurants for Australian Gourmet Traveller and contributed to the weekly Eating Out column for the Sunday Telegraph magazine for six years. She was the dining writer for the FPC Wentworth Courier Group, and has been a judge for the Restaurant and Catering Association (NSW) awards. Today she continues to contribute food and dining articles to some of Australia's leading publications, and is the food and dining editor for Travel & Living magazine. Sally is escorting Iconic Tours' Italian Lakes, Food and Wine tour in 2008. |
